This app was advertised as free but when I downloaded it, it cost $6 a month which isn’t a lot but it is false advertising. It said we had a week free trial but then it told us we couldn’t play more than 3 games a day. Reading the reviews I deleted this app and wouldn’t recommend anyone download it.

My 2yr old boy loves these games. They are SO much more than just entertainment. They help with colors, dexterity, matching, problem solving, vocabulary, listening etc.. I don’t regret signing up at all. User interface is not bad, I’m sure things will continue to improve as time goes on. It’s easy enough that my son can navigate mostly without help.

I am a Nanny and recently the family I work with started using the tablet, but ran into issues that had us all agree the type of screen time was creating a problem. I’m lucky I saw an ad for TinyTap because our 2 year old has done a 180! She absolutely LOVES the puzzles and she’s good at them! Her behavior has returned to well mannered and better tempered. She also doesn’t obsess over it, when she’s had enough she puts the tablet away. No more tantrums and she’s so excited to tell us about it!

I had a terrible experience because the app is about making bucks and not educating. You are paying one-off 50gbp which is ok if you are going to use the app. Gradually my daughters got disinterested. They send a reminder about renewal about a month ago. I thought I had deactivated my subscription but no unfortunately the payment got through for another £50. UPDATE:Tiny tap did refund me the amount of the subscription. But still I believe that need to manage better the subscription system

Enjoyed the app but….. How does one receive a refund for a fee deduction of $52.91 that is more than what was suppose to be deducted for a 7 day free trial? People should be able to see cost of all subscriptions prior to signing up. That’s not clear on Tinytap’s website or app. I also didnt receive a reminder notification before the end of the 7 day free trial. Those little reminders help for busy moms and dads.

Even though I also accidentally got charged after trial ended, my 20 month old toddler has truly enjoyed using this app. I have tried many others (free ones) but this has actually been one of the only ones so far that he likes and patiently uses.Tinytap was kind enough to offer me an extension for the mishap but I do suggest that there should be some way to stop the app from automatically charging us on the end of trial period. I believe it’s becoming a regular complaint and needs to be fixed.

For $80 I would expect more professionally done games. Immediately, I had to turn off the music in the settings. The music was louder than the voices used. Some of the voices used were awful – one voice sounded like a child whispering. Another voice had a thick accent. The graphics and games are poorly designed and were obviously not developed by educators. Did it keep my toddler busy? Yes. I don’t think she is getting any benefit from the game itself.

Thought it looked great ,but as soon as I saw it was an annual fee of $95 Aud, I was not ok with this. Yes a good price monthly of $7, but to charge annual only, not monthly wasn’t worth the try. If I could have gone month to month like ready eggs, I would have gave it a go. 🤷♀️ if your change you fees might give it a shot

I would really advice parents to NOT to sign up for this app. I wanted to try the app for my son, subscribed it, and what I thought would be a month fees. Instead, an entire year fees, (which is quite a lot) got deducted. Immediately contacted the developer explaining the situation and requesting refund. It’s been ten days now and I am still replying to mail after mail, which I think is mostly automated, to no avail! I don’t think I have ever been this frustrated with any app before.

Just started my trial period and the app is already glitching. The app wouldn’t allow my daughter to move on from a certain game. She was becoming very frustrated. I contacted the company, but they say it will take 5-7 days to get back to me. Conveniently, this is beyond the trial date and my credit card will be charged if I don’t cancel. Therefore, I decided to try and cancel, since the app was nothing like I had hoped (think very low budget). Very unhappy.
