What is Stargate?

Stargate is a community-driven platform building the first fully composable native asset bridge and the first decentralized application (dApp) built on LayerZero.

Stargate’s core vision is to make cross-chain liquidity transfer a seamless, single transaction process, allowing assets to flow between different blockchains with ease.

How Is Stargate Used?

1. DeFi Users:
   • Stargate enables DeFi users to swap native assets across chains in a single transaction. For example, you can swap USDC on Ethereum for USDT on BNB without multiple steps.
   • This cross-chain swap process is simple and efficient, reducing friction in decentralized finance operations.
2. Applications:
   • Applications can integrate Stargate to execute native cross-chain transactions at the application level.
   • Example 1: A decentralized exchange (DEX) could use Stargate to enable seamless cross-chain swaps, like swapping AVAX for ETH, all within the DEX’s user interface.
   • Example 2: Yield aggregators can leverage Stargate to deploy assets across chains, unlocking higher APY opportunities by accessing liquidity on multiple chains.

These cross-chain swaps are supported by Stargate’s community-owned unified liquidity pools, enhancing liquidity and user experience.
