MIRA Meme Coin, Created for Little Girl with Brain Tumor, Surges Over 700% After ‘God Candle’ Formation

The coin, built on the Solana blockchain, was created after Chen shared a heartfelt post detailing Mira’s diagnosis with craniopharyngioma, a rare and difficult-to-treat brain tumor. Siqi Chen, who received half of the initial coin supply worth $400,000, stated that while he hesitated to sell the tokens, he decided to sell only 10% of the supply. He pledged that 5% of the proceeds would be used for Hankinson’s research, totaling around $49,263. He clarified that his family would not benefit financially from the coin, and all funds raised would directly support research to find a cure for Mira’s tumor.

Chen emphasized that despite the skepticism surrounding meme coins, the MIRA token’s purpose was a legitimate use case for crypto – to fund rare disease research. The coin has sparked significant interest and support, as people see it as a way to contribute to a cause while also participating in the rapidly growing world of cryptocurrency.
