Bitcoin SV, short for Bitcoin Satoshi's Vision, originated as a fork of Bitcoin Cash, which is itself a derivative of the original Bitcoin protocol. One of the main distinctions between BSV and BTC is the capability for larger block sizes within its blockchain. While this feature allows BSV to handle more transactions per block, it also leads to higher operational costs for running a node on the network. As a result, this can limit the number of users able to validate transactions, potentially undermining the overall decentralization of the network.
