Bybit has unveiled a new Physical Card for international users, offering a convenient way to make payments using cryptocurrency. According to a press release shared with Pinetbox.com, this card allows users to pay anywhere Mastercard is accepted, effectively bridging the gap between digital assets and traditional transactions.
Until now, crypto spending has largely been restricted to online platforms or exchanges. Bybit’s Physical Card changes this by converting users’ cryptocurrency into traditional currency at the point of sale, allowing crypto payments to function seamlessly, much like a regular debit card.
The card is issued by Bybit Limited and regulated by the Astana Financial Services Authority. It caters to both new and experienced crypto users. VIP users can obtain the card for free, while others can purchase it for $29.99. There are no monthly or annual fees associated with the card.
Bybit’s Card Perks
- 2% cashback on eligible purchases in cryptocurrencies such as Tether and Avalanche.
- New cardholders can enjoy 10% cashback, capped at $300.
- 8% annual percentage rate on certain transactions.
- Integration with Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and Digiseq Wearables, making mobile payments more convenient.
To get the physical card, users first need to apply for a virtual card. Once approved, the physical card offers greater flexibility for in-person transactions. Bybit is rolling out the card in phases, and those who aren’t yet eligible can join the waitlist.
With this launch, Bybit aims to make crypto spending more accessible and practical for everyday transactions, providing users with a bridge between the world of digital currencies and traditional financial systems.
