NFT sales soar by 94%, reaching $178.8 million, with the Ethereum network leading the pack.

NFT sales have skyrocketed by 94.1%, reaching a total of $178.8 million, as the cryptocurrency market continues its upward trajectory. This surge comes amid Bitcoin hitting a new all-time high of $93,434.36, contributing to the broader rise in the global cryptocurrency market cap, which has now surpassed $3.03 trillion, marking a 4% daily increase.

Over the past week, NFT sales stood at $96.1 million, but the latest data from CryptoSlam reveals a dramatic increase in sales volume, nearly doubling to $178.8 million.

Ethereum (ETH) remains the dominant blockchain for NFT transactions, accounting for $67.5 million in sales, a 130% growth. Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) retains its strong position in second place with $59.2 million in NFT sales.

Notably, the number of NFT buyers surged by 251.19%, reaching 294,626, while NFT sellers also saw a significant increase of 236.89%, totaling 189,367. This trend signals a growing interest and participation in the NFT space, continuing the momentum from recent market developments.

Ethereum NFT Sales Surge by 130%

NFT sales on the Ethereum blockchain have seen a remarkable 130% increase in the past week, reaching $67.5 million in sales volume. During the same period, the number of NFT buyers on Ethereum grew by 48.03%, reaching 32,064 buyers.

In second place, Bitcoin has solidified its position with a 139.46% surge in NFT sales, totaling $59.2 million for the week, according to data from CryptoSlam.

Solana follows closely in third place with $24.4 million in NFT sales, reflecting a 94.65% growth over the past seven days.

In fourth place, Mythos Chain (MYTH) recorded $10.8 million in NFT sales, experiencing a slight 0.48% decline.

Rounding out the top five, Immutable X (IMX) saw a 23.82% increase in NFT sales, reaching $4.75 million.

The latest data highlights the growing diversity and competition within the NFT space, with Ethereum continuing to dominate, while other blockchains like Bitcoin and Solana are making significant strides.

BRC-20 NFTs Maintain Dominance with $28.1 Million in Sales

BRC-20 NFTs have continued to hold their strong position in the market, with $28.1 million in sales volume, reflecting a 207.87% increase in the past week.

In second place, CryptoPunks saw a massive surge, achieving $23.2 million in sales, representing an astonishing 688.74% increase.

  • CryptoPunks #784, which was purchased for $216,212 (70 ETH)

This data highlights the continuing dominance of CryptoPunks in the NFT market, alongside the growing strength of the BRC-20 NFT segment.
