Pi Network has issued a reminder to its user community regarding an important deadline that must be adhered to. The anticipation surrounding this deadline is palpable, as many within the community are eager to see whether the project will finally meet its long-awaited goals.
Just One Month Remaining
The Pi Network remains a highly debated subject within the cryptocurrency landscape. Despite being in existence for five years, the project’s native token and the launch of its open mainnet have yet to materialize, leading to skepticism among potential users and investors.
Earlier this year, the team behind Pi Network encouraged users to complete the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) procedures to facilitate progress toward these significant milestones. Initially, users were given a deadline of the end of September to complete this process, but this was later extended to provide additional time.
Most recently, Pi Network has clarified that the verification process, referred to as the Grace Period, will continue until November 30, 2024. This extension has sparked renewed discussions within the community about the project’s future and the prospects for its native token.
The team has assured users that those who do not comply with the rules by the deadline will receive a personalized Grace Period timer. This measure is designed to give individuals additional time to complete the necessary steps and ensure they don’t miss out on important milestones.
This timer will continue to count down as long as this process is pending a user action and will pause in the event that an individual is blocked by the system in these following specific steps: being ineligible to apply to KYC, being stuck in the KYC process more than one month, having a tentative KYC status, and delays by the system from Mainnet migration.
It will be intriguing to observe whether Pi Network can achieve some of its goals in the coming months, especially given the numerous delays and postponed events that have previously frustrated many community members.
In the meantime, users are eagerly anticipating December, when the Pi Core Team is expected to provide further details on the open roadmap for the mainnet. This roadmap is anticipated to pave the way for the buying and selling of Pi tokens, and many are hopeful that this will mark a significant step forward for the project.
