Pi Network Ready for Open Mainnet: KYC Verification Reaches 13 Million Pioneers

One of the main strategic steps taken by this blockchain-based platform is the implementation of a mass identity verification process or Know Your Customer (KYC), which began on July 1, 2024.

This KYC process aims to ensure that every Pi Network user, known as a pioneer, is properly verified before being able to fully participate in the digital ecosystem being built.

In recent months, the number of pioneers who have successfully passed the KYC process has reached 13 million, reflecting the high enthusiasm of the Pi Network global community.

As the Open Mainnet launch approaches, the Pi Network team expects the number of users completing KYC and ready to migrate to mainnet to continue to grow.

“The number of pioneers who have passed KYC is a strong testament to the readiness of our community. We greatly appreciate their active participation and continue to encourage other pioneers to complete KYC before the deadline,” the official statement from the Pi Network core team said.

To make things easier for users, Pi Network recently introduced a Grace Period , which provides users with a grace period to complete KYC requirements and mainnet migration without any hassles.

Additionally, a special reminder feature has been added to the app, allowing each user to view their KYC and migration deadlines directly during the mining process or on the app’s main screen.

Currently, more than half of the first three-month period for users to apply for KYC has passed, with the final deadline for the KYC process set for September 30, 2024.

Pi Network continues to remind pioneers not to delay KYC submission and urges their Security Circle Team and Referral Team members to take action immediately.

“We encourage all pioneers not to miss your KYC or Pi migration deadlines. Be sure to invite your peers to join the Pi Network ecosystem before the Grace Period ends!” reads the official announcement from the Pi Network core team.
