MoonPay has announced a partnership with Ripple, enabling users to buy, manage, and store XRP directly within their MoonPay accounts.
This collaboration, revealed on October 16, expands MoonPay’s offerings, which already include popular assets like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and the stablecoin Tether (USDT). Users can now purchase XRP through MoonPay using payment methods like credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal in supported regions.
The partnership comes just after Ripple named MoonPay as one of the partners for the launch of its RLUSD stablecoin. Earlier this month, MoonPay also added support for PayPal USD (PYUSD), the stablecoin issued by PayPal.
In addition to expanding its crypto offerings, MoonPay received key regulatory approval from Australia’s AUSTRAC in September, allowing it to offer crypto exchange services in the country and support local payment methods like Osko and PayID.
